For some reason, when I think The Beatles, I think about George Harrison. It just breaks my heart that he never really achieved his own potential because Lennon and McCartney were already larger than life. This is why out of all the wonderful songs of one of my favorite bands of all time, my favorite has got to be Something. Although much can be said about the vocal performance of Harrison, I think it's so well written that it makes up for it. It's such a perfect song for me and the way it was produced complimented the simplicity and laid back nature of who was nicknamed to be the Silent Beatle.
A close second would also have to be Here Comes the Sun. I remember going to London with my family when I was 10 and we arrived there so early and drove through London at around 6 AM from the airport. Immediately, my Dad and I started singing Here Comes the Sun in the airport car and it was so poignant for me that it's one of those memories I'll treasure for the rest of my life.
